The Forest Protector MINDO – Nabillo is a protected natural reserve to the northwest of Quito to an hour and a half of trip is a spectacular destination for adventure tourism and nature lovers. Its different activities make Mindo a special place. Our excursion adapted to your level of comfort takes us for walks where we can observe beautiful waterfalls and rivers in the middle of the rainforest.

It is recognized worldwide for its diversity and is home to more than 450 species of birds, including cabezones toucans and quetzals of golden head in the 2.230 hectares of cloud forest of Ecuador we can witness the variety of flora and fauna of this beautiful place that has more than 1000 species of butterflies.

Within the nature reserve we will visit the waterfall of Nambillo by an ecological path this is one of the main attractions of this route and we can take a tarabita like a troly of more than 500 meters of length that shorten the time of walking providing emotions of the Vertigo of height and a complete view of cloud forest.

We will visit the Butterfly Garden where we can learn the process of reproduction life and metamorphosis of the butterflies.

It is a perfect place to practice extreme aquatic sports or in the air as the Canopy where we can cross different cables with a distance of 3,500 meters in total then descend the river in the activity called tubing or regattas where the adrenaline increases as we go along the river Mindo feel the fun to the maximum of an extreme swing with more than 40 meters of travel.
